3 ENTRIES IN A POST! because i hadnt been able to get online! HAHA,HERE GOES,

I just got my revelation from a normal Saturday morning and it is so refreshing. It renewed my faith and it set my direction right again.

I want to be more Christ-like, more like our heavenly father. It is time to prepare my fields for something greater. Looking at my tutee and the friends she have, the parents of their friends who asked me whether I am keen to increase my students, and the brother my tutee has, it just came to me that why Lord wants us to honor our parents. All parents really love their children, even though mine displays a love that is more subtle. It’s really hard to understand.

Then, I superimposed the situation on myself. And I asked, “Am I ready to teach my children in the future?” and of course, the answer is rhetorical. When my tutee asked questions beyond her syllabus, it just goes to show how much she desire to learn and how many of us here today often take this for granted? We often say, “Argh, how I wished I can stop studying,” and we are often thrilled by the idea of holidays and end of examinations. Yes, they are great because it allows us to take a break and build our temple, our body. However, many of us do not make full use of the ample time to do great things. I just can’t imagine life when we stop learning.

To end off, I would just like to say that I am ONCE AGAIN, grateful to every single thing that is around me, for they define me. And I would also start practicing how to be a good father and learn as many things as possible, so that I can teach and impart every single thing that I know!

What you want, God will provide.
…do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and power and glory forever. Amen!



Hi everyone!

Two times the service, twice the blessings! It should be confession time again! For if I confess my sins to God, He’ll forgive me!

I must admit that I always try to find excuses to miss this thing and that thing because I am selfish. Yes, SELFISH. Because I want to do other things as they are more comfortable. This must be the WIDE road. The wild road is the road that leads to destruction and I don’t deny that I having been heading towards destruction. I lost myself BUT I kept going to church, hoping that I can have back my sanity. Indeed, I am sane once again!

I realized that we must be consistent in the things that we do, whether big things or small things. Especially the SMALL things. If we cannot even do small things, then God would never use us to do greater things.
The desire Is back again and consistency is the key!



It feels like this blog is dead isn’t it? Nah, it isn’t dead, despite its owner having examinations.

Though some might argue that I have plenty of time because I have been exempted from physics, I don’t agree with them. While it is true that I INDEED have MORE time, but that is the same way I have been living from the beginning of the year. Just that I don’t experience the physical fatigue as I am deprived of exercises. Without exercise, I would say, it makes you feel lethargic easily. It leads to SDSM. ( for those who do not know, it stands for Self-Discipline and Self- Motivation on JJC’s badge) But very often, it is(even the teachers say) Self-Destruction and Self-Mutilation. Why? This is simply because you tend to sleep more and lack focus, destructing your own future. As for SM, it is so, because input is not equals to output and hence “mutilating” your own body.

In this few days, I have been trying to figure out, the difference is between (Raf-fle-gians) and JJcians. And the difference can be subtle, yet perniciously there. I think it is procrastination and the utilizing of time. Observing the way worthy RJC students work is truly impressive. They really can multi-task very well and they are often seen as elites of society. I don’t deny that, though. They can switch their mind to work mode at any point of time, even when playing a game of pool. However, they are also regarded as “freaks” because they performance really well, even beyond expectations. In my opinion, these people are jealous and try to account for their underachieving performances. Most people don’t even try and perhaps due to family members or mass media, they often develop mindsets that lead to a lack of self-confidence. When a teacher questions our answers, almost immediately, we begin to doubt our own answers. This is perhaps, the undesirable product of our education system. Fortunately, I do see a shift in the way the next generation is being taught. “Teach less, learn more” sounds really awesome, but how effective is this, we would still need sometime to review it.

Next up is the notion of elites; What really, are elites? Is it determined by one’s abilities? Or attitude? I think is the combination of both.
Consider this, if a person excels in his studies but has an awfully bad conduct (especially in the area of respect for authority), I would say that person has really bad flaws. An elite should not be a hypocrite. He/She has to juggle academics and relationships at his fingertips effectively, with no room for excuses and that is MY definition of elites.

Let us now go back to the issue of procrastination. In the few months of my walk with Father Lord Jesus, CGLs, CGs , classmates and a myriad of college students (owing to Pre-U seminar), I realized something crucial and is a determinant of one’s life. It is purely the willingness to learn and not to whine, get down to work and do not delay and finally, consistency. To be successful in all areas of life, one has to fulfill these basic requirements. The more one indulges in his own world and activities, the more one will sink. (Do not misunderstand and think of the extreme) The more reluctant one wants to activates his/her brain, the more the brains are going to deteriorate.
Often caught in between excellence and failure, I dare say that the only difference between the two is quality work. Everybody has a brain and it definitely has the same working capacity as everyone. It is the opportunity and willingness to push oneself that define the parameters of brains. We are born with an undeveloped brain, the only difference being how much we can respond to things. Though some say that people are born smart, I ardently believe that the reverse is true. Just reflect upon your lives. How many times are you distracted when somebody walks past the class or during examinations? A 100% focus and receptive mind is the solution to all problems.

In the same vein, consistency is also one of the keys to unlock one’s greater potential. This is because constant revision and repetition trains the mind and retains the information. By observation, this can be well illustrated through musicians. The more they practice, the more fluent is their music. No musicians can play an unknown piece of music with great passion and anointing at first try.

Superimpose these in your life and start your engines! Do not be dismayed by your current state or be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work you got to catch up. Learning is a life-long commitment. For with Christ, all things are possible! Don’t give yourself with anyone excuses!

(to my classmates, have you guys been faithful in collecting newspaper articles? Increasing your vocab bank? Practising mathematics? Applying physics in our daily lives? Revising chemistry?)

DO NOT LIVE TO PROCRASTINATE!

Which is more important? Keeping healthy all the time or learning all the time? Being healthy is good, but what is healthy if you live an empty life? Please do not let articles that compare extremists ideas (like working into our tombs) to minor things (keeping yourself healthy) be an excuse not to push yourself to the next level! Simply because keeping ourselves healthy should be our own duties and we should also protect our temple at all times! This point has been over-exerted already!

KEEPING TRYING, ASKING AND KNOCKING. REFUSE TO BE IGNORED!
Wait upon our Lord, fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! Do not give up, but implore God more and wage battles against the Devil.
